Firetex FX2000 is a third generation thoroughly tested and certified thin film intumescent coating for the protection of steel against structural failure caused by prolonged exposure to fire.

Firetex FX2000 is designed for shop application by airless spray, to provide fire resistance for up to 60 minutes on most structural steel and 90 and 120 minute protection to 3 sided "I" beams and RHS beams.

Features:

  • Rapid cure and recoat.

  • Can resist normal weather conditions for up to 6 months without topcoat provided it has allowed for full drying prior to exposure.

  • very cost effective fire protection up to 60FRR as compared to boards or linings or similar intimescents.

  • Higher volume solids as compared to similar competitor products.

  • To meet AU Building codes a Producer Statement can be issued for registered projects. Pre-Register with Altex Technical Services.

Firetex FX8000 is a specialist third generation thoroughly tested and certified thin film intumescent coating for protection of steel against structural failure against fire for 2 hours (120FRR)

Firetex FX8000 is fast drying and designed for shop application by airless spray, achieving 2 hour protection to qualifying structural steel in 1 to 4 coats.

Features:

  • Specialist economical protection to qualifying structural steel requiring 120 FRR (2 Hours fire rating).

  • Can resist normal weather conditions for 6 months without topcoat provided it was allowed to fully dry prior to exposure.

  • may be applied to suitably primed mild steel and galvanised sections.

  • To meet AU Building codes a Producer Statement can be issued for registered projects. Pre-Register with Altex Technical Services.

Pyrocrete 241 Is a single powder component mixed with clean, potable water before application. Recommended uses for fire protection of structural steel, bulkheads, and upgrading the fire resistance of existing concrete.

Pyrocrete 241's recommended areas of application are refineries, petrochemical, pharmaceutical facilities, pulp and paper mills, offshore platforms, nuclear and conventional power plants, factories, warehouses, institutional and biomedical facilities.

Carboline THERMO-LAG 3002 Is a two component, epoxy based, thermally activated, intumescent coating which is primarily spray applied directly over THERMO-LAG 3000 series EPFP. 

Thermo-Lag 3002 provides a hard, durable duplex system that allows for the reduction of coating thickness in jet fire environment as well as enhanced environmental resistance. It is applied to structural elements such as beams, columns, bulkheads, underdecks and risers for exposure to jet fire environments.
